December 3, 20192020 Vision
January 9, 2020Colonia Santa Fe Community Center.
- 85 students came for 3 hours of classes 3 times a week.
- 24 of our students placed 1st in their class at school.
- Hired a third teacher to help with educational reinforcement.
- 15 students received a robotics course.
- 15 students received 6 months of weekly English classes.
- Held weekly Bible studies for the parents.
San Jose Pinula Community Center.
- Expanded our full program to a second center.
- 60 students came for 3 hours of classes 3 times a week.
- Held two youth group meetings for teenager twice a week in the mornings.
- Held weekly Bible studies for the parents.
- Youth participated in two events at our local church.
- Held mother day outreach for parents of our students.
- 4 teenagers from our center participated in the first local mission trip.
- Youth and staff did their first outreach in the community and visited a retirement center.
Mission Teams.
- Received 8 mission teams who served alongside us in our ministry.
- Teams did VBS classes and visited the homes of our students to deliver supplies and pray for the families.
Disability Ministry.
- Our special educator and physical therapist worked caring for the disabled children and adults at a government orphanage all year.
Numbers.
- Taught almost 1000 Bible classes to students.
- Taught over 900 Computer classes to students.
- Held over 300 tutoring and educational reinforcement classes.
Staff Development.
- Held weekly meetings with the six staff who work in our program.
- Staff attended two local conferences, one on orphan care and the other on Bible teaching.
